Maribel and James's Downtown San Diego Elopement

Maribel and James's San Diego Court House Elopement 2018 (5 of 25).jpg

This past Thursday I had the honor of capturing images for James and Maribel. These two love birds have some amazing children (ranging from 19 all the way down to 3) and a lifetime of love, so it was amazing being able to share this day with their sweet family. Maribel's original wedding plans were for something more traditional, but when her eldest babe went into the Navy she knew she might need to do something different to make sure her whole family was there for their special day.

So to ensure James jr. made it to their big day, this sweet couple decided to move their wedding from Oklahoma, to San Diego, where James Jr. is currently stationed. Having a son in the military may have complicated this couples wedding day, but they wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Congratulations guys! I can't wait to share the rest of the images with you but hopefully you love these sneak peaks!

Hugs!

Taryn

San Diego Tuesday's Together at Moniker General, Liberty Station

Tuesdays Together Moniker General Christmas Party 2017-15.jpg

Last night was the final meeting of 2017 and the Christmas party for the San Diego chapter of Tuesday's Together.  Our group was lucky enough to be hosted by the lovely Moniker General in Liberty Station, and the set up was amazing. If you have never been to this spot it is a must if you head to the Liberty Station area.

This month's theme was rest, and this really was a great celebration of this season and reset for the year to come. With amazing food and drinks, and even more amazing people, I was blown away by all the warm hugs and smiling faces. I think that 2017 has been a real season of change and challenge for many in our community and this was the perfect opportunity for everyone to celebrate their wins and go in with bright optimism for what the next year may hold.

We had super fun activities of painting ornaments with the enormously talented Julie Marriott Art, super fun holiday Photobooth with Set Apart 4 Christ Photo booth & CC Vintage Rentals, and finishing it all up with a fun White elephant gift exchange. Live music performed by some amazing talented members put us all in the holiday mood, as well as all the stunning decor. All around the best holiday party I've been to this year!

A huge thank you to the planning team and vendors for this event, I am so blessed to call you all colleagues :

The Marley Family Session at the Torrey Pines Reserve

The_Marleys_Torrey_Pines_State_Beach_2017-17.jpg

It's Saturday and I am back in the swing of things with this bright and light family session. It was such a fun morning with this crew at the Torrey Pines State Reserve! The Marley family is so sweet and fun and this session was beautiful. Mom ,Lauren, was brave enough to agree to an early morning meet up time. And although it was early morning, her sweet girls had boundless energy! They ran pretty much the whole time we were on the trail, and Natalie (the eldest) made sure to mark the way with arrows so we wouldn't get lost, Penelope led the pack and Autumn (the youngest) loved looking for mermaids!

These precious girls wore dresses that were a family heirloom, held on to by grandma and still so pretty. Lots of laughs and giggles make for such a fun session, and you can see the pure joy and happiness on everyone's faces. . Family session season is upon us and I couldn't be more grateful for such an amazing family session. And a bonus to this family session is that I was able to donate 15% of the fee to Red Cross!

Anyways, Lauren and Jason, I hope you love these sneak peaks and I cannot wait to share all the rest!

XOXO,

Taryn
