Maribel and James's Downtown San Diego Elopement

Maribel and James's San Diego Court House Elopement 2018 (5 of 25).jpg

This past Thursday I had the honor of capturing images for James and Maribel. These two love birds have some amazing children (ranging from 19 all the way down to 3) and a lifetime of love, so it was amazing being able to share this day with their sweet family. Maribel's original wedding plans were for something more traditional, but when her eldest babe went into the Navy she knew she might need to do something different to make sure her whole family was there for their special day.

So to ensure James jr. made it to their big day, this sweet couple decided to move their wedding from Oklahoma, to San Diego, where James Jr. is currently stationed. Having a son in the military may have complicated this couples wedding day, but they wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Congratulations guys! I can't wait to share the rest of the images with you but hopefully you love these sneak peaks!

Hugs!

Brianna and Peter's San Diego Elopement in Little Italy

I am soo thankful for Instagram and Hashtags. It led these two amazing people my way and I could not be more grateful.  Meet Brianna and Peter!  They are not from San Diego, so it must have been a bit unnerving to come to a city, invite a stranger to witness and document their elopement. But I am so glad they did!

We had a great morning in Little Italy. I was a little worried cause when I arrived there was plenty of fog since we were right up against the water but the sun came out and warmed us all up. We had the first appointment of the day, and it was quiet and peaceful at the San Diego County Administration Center. Peter is such a jokester, he woke us all up and kept us all energized the whole time! And Brianna was sweet and loving, and just so excited to be marrying the man of her dreams. They were a perfect balance of each other and you can see that in all these sweet images.

We had a tasty breakfast over at Lofty Coffee (seriously go check their new spot out so cool) in little Italy. And then they set off to start the new day as husband and wife! I am so excited for you both and I hope you love this teaser! I had the best time, as you could tell from all my bouncing around that day!

Congratulations and love to you both!

Claudia and Stephen's San Diego Elopement

It is so amazing how clients find you sometimes. Luckily for me my mom was keeping track of local events on Nextdoor and responded to a post looking for a photographer. And next thing you know I get to meet these two darling people. Meet Claudia and Stephen and they had the sweetest elopement downtown at the San Diego Recorder Office.

I seriously love this building with the soft pink art deco architecture, and the golden elevator doors. And it looks even better next to a beautiful couple deeply in love. Claudia and Stephen, Thank you! For trusting me and for being so fun and wonderful. I loved being with you on your big day, and I wish you all the best. You have each other, so I know you'll have a wonderful life.

Much love,

Taryn
