Jordan and Alex's Ramona Wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle

Jordan and Alex's Mt. Woodson Ramona Wedding Great Woodland Photography 8-31-19-28.jpg

This Saturday in Ramona was a perfect summer day! It was so so hot, but Jordan and Alex, and their whole wedding party handled the heat like champs. They really took advantage of the gorgeous outdoor space at Mt. woodson, surrounded by giant old oak trees and beautiful purple and plum florals. I was absolutely gaga over the brides BHLDN dress, which had a pink tint to it and glowed in the sunlight.

It was such a great day, really focused on the bride and groom and their sweet families. The brides brother, Matthew, performed the ceremony that was full of personal details, jokes and sweet emotion. The brides mother, designed the stunning invitation sweet. I think my favorite moment of the night was the mother son dance to American Girl (Tom Petty) where the grooms mother just danced her heart out and Alex (the groom), dancing next to his mom just bursting with laughter and love.

Thank you Alex and Jordan, for choosing me to be with you on your big day! I hope you love all these sneak peaks and I can’t wait to show you more!

Kathryn and Dustin's Longshadow Ranch Winery Wedding

Kathryn and Dustin Temecula Longshadow Ranch Winery Wedding-15.jpg

Kathryn and Dustin’s wedding this past Sunday was my last wedding of the year and it was a stunner! It was moody and rustic, with touches of Christmas sprinkled in. All around perfection! This sweet couple was casual and cool all day long, and I think that translated into their pictures. They were ready to have a good time and we got to play!

I love this venue, from their stunning Barn reception hall, to the horses, and the vineyards that surround the space. It’s beautiful from end to end. The bride’s insanely talented sister created all the floral masterpieces that really set the mood for the whole event. I loved the simplicity and warmth of this wedding, and how much it was about the closeness of family.

It was a crazy busy weekend full of beautiful moments, and I hope I did those moments justice with some of these pictures. Congrats to Dustin and Kathryn, I know your life will be full of love!

Jessie and Mark's Mexican Inspired Fiesta Wedding in Cardiff by the Sea

Jessie and Mark's Cardiff by the Sea Lodge Encinitas Wedding-19.jpg

Yesterday’s Wedding Fiesta here in Cardiff was so unbelievably fun! Mark and Jessie, and their entire family partied it up right on the sand in my home town. These two are always down for an adventure, from their travel around the world to their wedding day. They were up for anything! After getting ready at the cozy cute Cardiff by the Sea Lodge, we were able to shoot their intimate first look on the rooftop of the inn, with 180 degree views of the ocean as their backdrop. Jessie stunned in her gorgeous lace dress, and Mark’s jaw literally dropped when he saw his gorgeous bride.

After we left the Inn, we cruised the 101 into Encinitas and got some amazing shots with the classic red VW van they rented for the day. We made a pit stop at Swami’s and made sure to grab a few more shots with the van before we headed to their Seaside ceremony site. It was a blast! I especially loved that once we got to the ceremony everyone kicked off their sandals and was barefoot the rest of the evening. And my favorite part of this party, was the theme. Margaritas on the beach, delicious tacos and colorful florals everywhere.

Congrats Mark and Jessie! I hope you love this sneak peak, and I had a blast capturing your day!
