Jeff and Lara’s Japanese Friendship Garden Wedding, San Diego

Jeff and Lara's Wedding-18.jpg

Jeff and Lara’s wedding yesterday was so beautiful! Because of covid, these two actually got married in a small ceremony last year and rescheduled the bigger wedding day, but we made it! I started the day in Solana Beach with Lara as she got ready and got all her beautiful details. After that we headed to the church in Del Mar, St. Therese of Carmel, were we did their sweet first look. Jeff and Lara’s nieces were the flower girls and stole the show for a minute with their sweet little dresses and smiles.

Lara’s family is Catholic and they were lucky enough to have their families priest be the one to help perform the service. It was a beautiful vow renewal, and the church was full of beauty and family love. After the service we all headed down to the Japanese Friendship garden for portraits and the party! The families came together with laughter and love, and it was all super lovely. I especially loved that Jeff’s White Dragon Martial arts crew performed a Lion dance, and getting to watch everyone “feed” the lion was definitely the highlight of the evening. Thank you both for trusting me and allowing me to be with you! I can’t wait to see where life takes you.

Hugs,

Taryn
