Monique and Nick’s Wedding at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, Cabos San Lucas MX

Buckle in for this one, because this weekend was a wild ride! We flew out to Cabo San Lucas for Monique and Nick’s wedding, and it was truly one of a kind. Monique found me through her brothers wedding, where I was the photographer. And since she knew I could handle her fun and rambunctious family then, she asked if I would be willing to come to Mexico to photograph her big day. And I said ummmmm 100% YES!!!

These two beautiful people got married at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, surrounded by close family and friends from around the world. The warm golden and earth tones that swathed the walls of the resort and are the true base tone of the whole Baja California region, were incorporated into the color palate for the day. The Bridesmaids wore rich tones of terracotta and the groomsmen took the color of the sea, and the combo was stunning! The back drop of the rugged coast crashing into the blue swirling waters of the pacific meeting the Sea of Cortez was breath taking. We even got a low tide for the ceremony so those color were even more bright and rich!

Since the resort is the all inclusive variety, this weekend was a true fiesta! The food and drinks flowed, as did the laughter and joy! This couple kept up with all their guests and set the tone of the day, which was this is a party! The first dance was so amazing, I’m not sure I will ever get another with a pyrotechnic show behind my couple, but it truly was a wow moment! But we also made sure to take time and get some quiet and peaceful moments of reflection on how amazing and unique this day was. I am so lucky to have this family and couple in my life, and truly cannot say enough how thankful I am for their trust! I hope you and Nick are still having an amazing time in Cabo and love these sneak peaks. I can’t wait to get you the rest soon!
