Jessie and Mark's Mexican Inspired Fiesta Wedding in Cardiff by the Sea

Jessie and Mark's Cardiff by the Sea Lodge Encinitas Wedding-19.jpg

Yesterday’s Wedding Fiesta here in Cardiff was so unbelievably fun! Mark and Jessie, and their entire family partied it up right on the sand in my home town. These two are always down for an adventure, from their travel around the world to their wedding day. They were up for anything! After getting ready at the cozy cute Cardiff by the Sea Lodge, we were able to shoot their intimate first look on the rooftop of the inn, with 180 degree views of the ocean as their backdrop. Jessie stunned in her gorgeous lace dress, and Mark’s jaw literally dropped when he saw his gorgeous bride.

After we left the Inn, we cruised the 101 into Encinitas and got some amazing shots with the classic red VW van they rented for the day. We made a pit stop at Swami’s and made sure to grab a few more shots with the van before we headed to their Seaside ceremony site. It was a blast! I especially loved that once we got to the ceremony everyone kicked off their sandals and was barefoot the rest of the evening. And my favorite part of this party, was the theme. Margaritas on the beach, delicious tacos and colorful florals everywhere.

Congrats Mark and Jessie! I hope you love this sneak peak, and I had a blast capturing your day!

Kirsten and James's Casual Cardiff by the Sea Wedding

Kirsten and James's Cardiff by the Sea Pacific Coast Grill Wedding-24.jpg

When Kirsten described her wedding to me when we first met, she said “Simple and casual romantic beach wedding”. And that is exactly what yesterday was. Stunningly beautiful in it’s simplicity, right on the beach in my little town. These two made their day all about what really mattered to them, their friends and family. And being able to spend an intimate day with them.

Their non traditional wedding, was performed right on the beach with a circle of friends and family surrounding them. We even were able to cruise over to Swami’s to take their first look and family pictures. And an amazing surfer lended them their board for the couple to pose with. (Kirsten surfs and was so stoked!). I love my little town and how friendly and kind strangers can be. Everywhere we went people gave them their space but also gave big smiles and congratulations.

A big congratulations to Kirsten and James! Your day was amazing but your friendship and love really outshined everything else. And it shows in all these sweet pictures. I’m so lucky I got to be there for your day and I hope you love these pictures! The best is yet to come. :)

Hugs,

Taryn
